Privacy Policy
Last updated: 19 April 2026
Monster Hub ("Monster Hub", "we", "us", "our") builds custom AI agents for Australian businesses. We respect your privacy and are committed to handling your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
We collect personal information that you provide to us directly, and information that is generated automatically when you interact with our website and services.
Information you provide
- Contact details (name, work email, business or industry) submitted through our "Book Free Analysis" form or by emailing us.
- Information you share during discovery calls, workshops, or project delivery — including details about your business operations, internal processes, and documents you choose to share.
- Billing and payment information provided through our third-party payment processors.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring URL, and pages viewed.
- Analytics and performance data (e.g. page views, time on page) collected via cookies and similar technologies.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to enquiries and arrange introductory calls.
- To scope, design, build, deploy, and support AI agents and related software for our clients.
- To operate, secure, and improve our website and services.
- To send service-related communications and, where permitted, occasional updates about relevant Monster Hub services.
- To meet legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations in Australia.
3. Legal basis
We handle personal information where it is reasonably necessary for our functions and activities (APP 3), with your consent, to perform a contract with you, or to comply with Australian law.
4. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who help us operate our business — including cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics, customer communication tools, and large-language-model (LLM) providers used to power AI agents.
- Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, under confidentiality obligations.
- Authorities where required by Australian law, court order, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
- Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to equivalent privacy protections.
5. AI agents and client data
When we build AI agents for clients, those agents may process business data provided by the client (the "data controller"). Monster Hub acts as a data processor and handles such data in line with the written agreement we have with the client. We take reasonable steps to ensure that sub-processors (including LLM providers) meet equivalent confidentiality and security standards.
6. Overseas recipients
Some of our service providers store or process information outside Australia (for example in the United States or the European Union). Where this occurs we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient does not breach the APPs in relation to your information.
7. Cookies
Our website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some parts of the site.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, and disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described above, or as required by law. When no longer needed, we destroy or de-identify it in accordance with APP 11.2.
10. Your rights
Under the APPs you can:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, out-of-date, incomplete, or misleading.
- Withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time.
- Lodge a privacy complaint with us, and, if unresolved, with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@monsterhub.io.
11. Children
Our services are directed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be notified on our website or by email where appropriate.
